Flame haired up and coming Scottish singer/songwriter Sophie Rogers is bursting onto the Scottish music scene.
She is the real life embodiment of “Brave” (the movie) - in looks, in tenacity, in passion, enthusiasm and spirit - and is performing at Room on Largs seafront this Friday evening at 9pm.
Her self written and co-produced, debut, ‘An Over Flow of Words’ (EP) with Scottish musician Gordy Goudie (Echo and the Bunnyman, Simple Minds) was released Spring 2014 following a sold out launch night at The Buff Club, Glasgow.
Her sound is Celtic, folk, lyrical with a soulful voice and broad, mainstream appeal.
Following Sophie’s EP launch party she is scheduled to play several Scottish festivals/support slots this year.
