Largs Live is back, bigger and better than ever before, say organisers.

This big music festival offers something for every taste from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 June.

And, it’s not only music at café’s, restaurants and pubs, there is also a raft of free family fun and children’s entertainment too.

Especially for children… The McDougalls Silly Singalong will be staging free performances at 1.00pm, 2.00pm, 3.00pm and 4.00pm on both Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th at the Brisbane Centre in Bath Street.

The popular Face Painting Fairies, who made their artistic mark at the Largs Food Fest will be back too. Their FREE face painting will take place at the grasses area outside the Brisbane Centre.

Kelburn Country Estate will also be joining in the fun, with children admitted free when accompanied by a full paying adult.

Strut your stuff in the street… There will also be an amazing array of street entertainment as Largs celebrates the start of the School Summer holidays. Saturday sees Glasgow’s “The Skunnered” playing in Tron Place 1pm-4.30pm, a blend of folk, pop and rock. They give big songs a BIG twist with bongos and a double bass in their line up. SAMBAYABAMBA, the 20 piece drum bateria and stomping brass section, spread their infectious Brazilian rhythms, ska, hip-hop, funk and reggae around Tron Place and Gallowgate Square between 1pm and 5.00pm on Sunday.

This year Largs Live steps into busking with a Scottish twist. Young local pipers will be performing on every street corner.
