The Largs Flower Show returns in bloom in August. With sections for pot plants, cut flowers, vegetables, herbs, floral art, hobbies and crafts, baking and preserves, junior section with hobbies and crafts, schools and the Viking Festival competition for primary school children, there is something for everyone. You don’t have to be an experienced exhibitor to show help is always on hand. Why not have a go!

The show is being held in Dunn Memorial Hall, St John’s Church, on Saturday 22 August from 9.30am–4.30pm. Staging of exhibits will be from 2pm–6.15pm on Friday 21 August with judging starting at 6.30pm. Largs Flower Club are coming along for a hands on flower workshop for children and adults starting from 10am until 3.30pm on the day of the show. There will also be a raffle, tombola, plant stall and tearoom with home-made soup for lunch.
