PORTENCROSS CASTLE ART SALE The annual Art Sale will take place in Portencross Castle on Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28, from 11am - 4pm on both days. Come along and see the work of local artists in a unique setting. You might take the opportunity to buy an original work of art at a very reasonable price. Entry to the show is £1 children free of charge. Normal visitor access to the Castle, including the roof, will regretfully not be available on these days. There will be a raffle of work kindly donated by some of the artists, and the popular tea tent will be serving refreshments in the garden of nearby South Banks House. All proceeds from this event go towards the running costs of Portencross Castle.
On Monday, June 29 daily opening will resume at the Castle, throughout July and August, 11am until 4pm, with last entry at 3.45pm. Occasionally the Castle might be closed to visitors due to private functions. Check the website www.portencrosscastle.org.uk for details.
