MacKILLOP Donald Mathieson (nee Grant) In loving memory of Don, who passed away on 4th February 2024 peacefully with his family by his side, Don, a dearly loved husband of Gilda, dad, brother, uncle and friend. Don was loved by all and will be greatly missed. A celebration of Don's life will be held at the Clyde Coast & Garnock Valley Crematorium on Wednesday 21st February at 2pm to which all are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. I have known Don for many years through his Armed Forces years and more recently after meeting up again at City of Glasgow College were Don was linked to the CALMAC courses.
He was always a person who had a great knowledge of his trade both as a chef and manager.
He always gave you time to talk and was always positive in his outlook.
The knowledge of his passing came as a shock knowing Dons zest for life, it is hard to understand.
My condolences to Gilda and the Family, may he rest in peace.
