Largs Events is lining up a Highland Games extravaganza!
David Webster, an expert in running Highland Games over many decades, is organising the first Highland Games in Largs for nearly fifty years on Friday 5 July at Broomfields, on behalf of the new group, Largs Events, run by North Ayrshire Citizen of the Year nominee Grahame Ross.
In March this year Mr Webster was in California at the request of Arnold Schwarzenegger to put on his first Highland Games. On Saturday 6 July, a family fun day is also planned at Broomfields in Largs. The 'Fierce Cheerleaders' have confirmed their attendance. They will hold a workshop for young people.
