Millport Parent & Toddler Group are holding an Easter Sunday special with lots of fun and games at the Garrison.

There will be an Easter egg hunt, Easter Bonnet competition, decorate your egg competition, kids entertainment plus tombola, stalls and lots more. The event is to raise funds for the group, and will start at 2pm.

On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 April, the Field Studies Council (formerly Marine Station) in Millport are hosting an art/craft activities day for all the family. The museum and aquarium will be open, with activities taking place from 11am to 4pm.

The model railway exhibition in the Garrison grounds is open on Monday and Wednesdays from 1pm to 4pm. And on Wednesday 23rd April, there is a bookbug session for 0-5 year olds at Millport Library from 10am.

On Friday 25 April, from 10.30 to 12 noon. Scottish Country Dancing takes place in the DA Hall. Cost £1, some knowledge is required.

On Saturday 26 April, Millport Bowling Club are hosting a cabaret evening from 8pm with Kevin Gillon. Tickets are £6 from the bowling club.

The Museum of the Cumbraes in the Garrison is open from 10am-4pm every day. Items and artefacts show the history of the Cumbrae islands.

The Wee Museum located in the Garrison courtyard is an old school-room full of Cumbrae history. It is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 12 noon till 3pm. Contact Sandy on 530478.
