There was an alleged assault at MacAulay’s bar in Largs town centre on Sunday evening.
A 48 year old woman has been charged in relation to behaving in a disorderly manner, and refusing to leave the premises when asked. She then allegedly pushed another woman when told to leave the premises.
A Vauxhall Vectra which had broken down on the road to Hunterston Power Station was broken into by thieves after it had been abandoned.
The incident happened on Christmas Day between 6pm and 10.45pm. Both rear windows of the vehicle had been smashed, and a range of items were stolen including DVDs. gift vouchers for The Ship Inn restaurant in Irvine, and even a set of pyjamas.
A 48 year old man from Greenock has been charged with drink driving after his vehicle was stopped on the A78 between Largs and Skelmorlie at 10.55pm on Saturday.
