Computing class A new “Computing for Employment” class will start in the library on Monday. During this course you can find out how to set up an email address, how to write a CV using a computer, and the best way to search for jobs online and fill in online application forms. The course is free and will run from Monday 12 January, 2pm - 4.30pm, for 7 weeks. OIR The next Opportunities in Retirement introductory course in the use of computer tablets using iPads will start at 10 am on Tuesday 13 January in the meeting room of the United Free Church in Brisbane Road. Meetings take the form of workshops aimed at beginners or near beginners. Possession of an iPad is not essential. Places may be reserved at the OIR Office in Hasties, open from 10am-12 noon on weekdays. Contact John Turcan on 687364.
