Don’t forget there is a great excuse for you to don some outrageous togs and help raise funds for the Kirktonhall Creative Media Group’s project this weekend.
The group is hosting a Swinging Sixties night at West Kilbride Village Hall on Saturday 25 April.
There will be swinging sounds from The Soundrels, a Sixties disco, a music quiz, and a prize for the best Sixties outfit. Entry is £10.
The Soundrels are a four piece Sixties style band, usually known as Glasgow/Ayrshire based rock band ‘Dead Electric’.
However, they have been inspired by the project to turn Kirktonhall into a Creative Media Centre and agreed to donate their time and talent to the Twist & Shout fundraiser.
