The North Coast foodbank will be open as usual on Thursday (today) from 12-6pm in the Citizen's Advice Centre opposite farmfoods, in Boyd Street, Largs.
Items which are in short supply include tinned meats, tinned veg, tinned fruit,tinned rice or custard, and fresh cartons of fruit juice.

Anyone needing a voucher can go along to the council department which is situated in the Brooksby Centre in Largs. People can donate at anytime in the Co-op in Gallowgate Street.
The foodbank can also be contacted their emergency phone number between the hours of 9am and 7pm, Monday to Friday for referrals only - 07482- 508875.
