The local West Kilbride community tennis club are offering come and try sessions at the new courts in the Glen every Saturday in June between 11am - 1pm.
If you've never tried tennis but think you'd like to or perhaps you're a bit of a 'rusty racquet' who's not played in years why not come along and have a hit. Come on your own or with family members or friends.
The sessions are open to adults and children. The only stipulation is that you wear trainer type footwear so as not to damage the courts. There is a small charge of £1 for kids and £2 for adults. Equipment will be provided for anyone who needs it.
John Wilson, chairman of West Kilbride community tennis club, said: "We have members from all walks of life and a wide range of abilities including many beginner level players. We're a pretty sociable bunch with regular social tennis events during the week and at weekends. So don't be shy. We're sure you'll have fun and we'll make you very welcome even if you've never picked up a racquet before.
"And, if you decide you'd like more information about tennis or the club there will be someone on hand to help."
