During the typical wet weather expected during a Scottish summer, passengers at Fairlie Station have been wondering where the train shelter has gone.
A spokesperson for ScotRail said: "The shelter at Fairlie station has been removed in preparation for a new modern waiting shelter, complete with LED lighting, to be installed within the next two weeks.
"This is just one of 15 shelters in 10 stations that are being replaced between now and September."
