The Bosun's Table cafe at Largs Yacht Haven raised £1250 to enable children recovering from cancer to have the opportunity to go sailing.
The cafe would like to give a massive thank you to everyone who made it along to their recent fundraising Cheese, Wine, and Chat charity night in aid of the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust.
Marshona Pendrill of The Bosun's said: "We’re over the moon to confirm we smashed our tickets target of £1000, raising another £250 on the evening - enough to send four young people recovering from cancer treatment on a week-long sailing adventure.
"Many thanks to local fine artist Alasdair Houston for his very kind painting donation and to all the staff at the Bosun’s who graciously agreed to cater the evening for free.
"Most of all, thank you to everyone who donated, popped in for a glass of wine, and those who played any part in making the evening such an enjoyable event… See you again next year!
