There is an ongoing police incident taking place in Fairlie on Wednesday evening.
A total of five police cars and an ambulance have attended an address at Kelburn Avenue, to the north side of the village, near the petrol station.
Police were staying tight lipped other than to say that the incident was ongoing.
An ambulance was seen arriving at the scene at 4.35pm, and there was a strong police presence with officers standing by at each side of the road leading to Keppenburn Avenue.
7pm - The incident is over, and police have departed the scene. More details to follow
