The popular Farmers market is returning to Kip Marina on 17th April. Open from 11am to 4pm.
Friday Zone
The Children at Inverkip’s Friday Zone had a Red Nose Day event on Friday evening.
More Fund Raising
Inverkip Church Sunday School children will be selling home baking to raise money for Red Nose Day at 11am after the service on Church Sunday 2nd April.
Dancing time
Wemyss Bay and Nursery Parents Council arranged for Wemyss Bay School children to hold a “Dance-a-thon” on Friday. By the look of the video of the event there was plenty of dancing from the children and teachers.
Renfrewshire Federation Show
Inverkip Institute took part in the Crafts Show held by Institutes in Renfrewshire.
The participants were pleased to come away with 2 Second places and a Highly Commended for their entries.
Scouts
The 85th Troop was out on their bikes at Whitelee Wind farm in great weather. They certainly looked as if they enjoyed the trip going by their pictures. There were still some with energy left at the end of the cycle ride and they went on to swim at Greenock Leisure Centre to finish their Swimming Badges.
Primary School
The sale of gifts for Mother’s Day went well at Inverkip Primary. The School Funds benefited with the £313 raised.
