Funding
Thanks to the Magnox Socio-Economic Fund, Fairlie Community Association is delighted to have been awarded funding for a new cooker, fridge and microwave for the Village Hall.
Ballet
The Village Hall was full of parents and friends recently for Fairlie Community Association Ballet’s show “Enchanted Garden” – thanks and well done to Allyson Gallagher and dancers for their hard work. Ballet classes will restart in September – if interested, further information is available from fairliecommass@gmail.com or 07958 048908.
Zumba
Zumba dance fitness classes are held in the Village Hall on Tuesday mornings from 10am to 11am. Zumba is great fun, and you can put in as much (or as little!) energy as you want. There’s no need to book, just go along and pay at the door (£4) – all welcome! If you have any queries, contact Fairlie Community Association on 07958 048908 or at fairliecommass@gmail.com.
Toddlers
The Toddlers group meets in the Village Hall on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10am to 11.30am with toys and activities for babies and young children under five (and a cuppa and chat for the accompanying adults). There’s a mix of mums, dads and grandparents, and everyone’s welcome. Just drop in and join them, or contact Kimberley on 07812 356664 if you have any queries.
Village Hall
Fairlie Village Hall can be hired for family parties, discos, fundraisers, meetings, classes, etc. There’s a large hall with stage and a small meeting room, and a PA system, urn, crockery, table linen, etc. are available for lessees’ use. Contact Fairlie Community Association on 07958 048908 or e-mail fairliecommass@gmail.com for details of availability and cost.
News Items
If you have an item for the Fairlie Notes, could you please let me have it before 9.30am on Thursday for inclusion the following week (568381 or ecampbell1111@gmail.com).
