Lift Problem

The lift at the Station in Inverkip seems to have been out of action again. Residents with prams who use it to cross to Station Avenue are having difficulty and have asked the Community Council if a ramp could be provided to avoid the problem of access when lift is out of action. The community council have contacted the appropriate authorities regarding the problem.

Community Council

Inverkip and Wemyss Bay community council have documented areas in Inverkip that they feel the council’s attention should be drawn to. Those responsible for areas in the village is a thorny question, the recent questions regarding one play area come to mind. The photographs have been sent to the council and their reply is awaited. Broken pavements, overgrown verges, broken fences at the cemetery were some of the areas highlighted.

The group of scouts have returned home from a busy week of activities. Thanks must go to those who organise the trips like these and give up their time to take the members away.
