Largs Post Office in the Main Street is currently closed as it transfers its operation to Gallowgate Square to the former SNP shop.
A spokesman for the Post Office said: "The current branch closed yesterday 8 November at 1pm and will relocate to the new premises and reopen at 58 Gallowgate Street on Friday 17 November at 1pm.
"The current operator is relocating her business and Post Office so the equipment needs to be relocated and installed at the new branch."
The new post office will double up as a cafe operation too.
The Post Office has advised that users go to Skelmorlie Post Office, 62 Shore Road, Skelmorlie.
Another new post office is moving into the Spar in Holehouse Road, Largs on 20 November.
