A Christmas fun and quiz night took place in the Newton Lounge raising money for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).
The event was specially held in memory of young Millport man Steven Blair. Apart from the quiz and fun events, there was a Christmas tree entitled 'Steven's Christmas Tree for Life'. People attending the event were able to attach donations to it. There was a raffle and a light supper was enjoyed. The marvellous sum of £785 was raised to date.
Steven's parents Hunter and Susan who have worked so hard for the charity in Steven's name would like to thank everyone who donated and attended the fun night. Special thanks to Lesley and Robert Cunningham and their staff in the Newton for a great night.
