It is 'happy ever after' for a Largs couple after the deportation of American Dale McIntier has been reversed following a successful appeal to the Home Office.
Dale of Idaho in USA, and wife Sandra of Largs married seven years ago, and live in Glenacre Drive, but their lives were turned upside down by a decision taken last summer to deport Dale back to America.
This was despite the fact he provides round-the-clock care for Sandra, 65, who is disabled, suffering from cancer and a genetic bone disorder.
However, common sense has prevailed in the eyes of the Largs couple and all their supporters, with over 12,000 signing a petition for Dale to stay.
