Rumours have been swirling that Largs Library could be on the move to the Vikingar!
Independent councillor Ian Murdoch is supporting any such move, but Cllr. Tom Marshall believes it should stay put at Allanpark Street as it is more accessible for older residents in the town.

A North Ayrshire Council spokesman said: “This is just one of a number of options we considered in consultation with the local community but we have no immediate plans to relocate Largs Library to the Vikingar. 
“Moving forward we will continue to explore all our options to ensure we continue to provide the best possible services for our customers in the difficult financial climate.”
