Water beautiful sight at Aubery Pond is back for summer 2018
Water great sight.
Aubery Pond in Largs was re-filled after nine months out of action after repairs took place at the site. The popular spot is a well used by Largs Model Boat Club, and used to be a boating pond.
The boating pond was built in Largs in the early 1960s at the behest of Largs Town Council Provost Herbert Acheson.
It provides many memories over the years as a boating pond for youngsters, see below.
However, the pond was without water for many months, and locals are delighted to see it back and fully restored.
