The Largs Agricultural Society show takes place on Saturday June 9 and is a fantastic family day out to celebrate the great outdoors.
As ever, there will be plenty to see and do, with family fun events and the opportunity to get a close up look at horses, Highland ponies, sheep, dogs and an assortment of cattle.
An additional attraction this year will be the superb vintage tractors being put on display, which will be a real nostalgic trip down memory lane for the farming fraternity – and fascinating for visitors to see.
The long tradition of the event taking place at Ardgowan Policies in Inverkip continues with permission from Sir Ludovic Shaw Stewart.
There is also cake and candy stalls, a hamper raffle and a gift area for people to peruse.
The schedule is as follows: 9am Showing & Show Jumping 10am Judging commences (Blackface Sheep) 10am Judging commences (Cattle & Horses) 12.30pm approx Champion of Champion to be judged 1pm Dog Judging commences 2.00pm Parade of Champions followed by Prizegiving.

It is one of the town’s major calendar events of the year and gives everyone the opportunity to get a close up glimpse of farming life and the superb animals.
The ever-popular dog show is held under the auspices of the Scottish Kennel Club as a companion show.
The show is believed to date back over 150 years when it used to be linked with the Largs Horticultural Society.
Largs Farmers Show are as ever very grateful to their sponsor group, without whose assistance the show would simply not survive.
It is an unmissable afternoon of entertainment. For more details, go to www.largsshow.co.uk
