Largs Viking Festival have announced that 'The Red Devils' are making a spectacular return to the town on Sunday September 9.
The Parachute Regiment's Freefall Team, are booked to end the festival at 3pm.
Their last appearance in 2015 drew a huge crowd and it is a great scoop for the organisers to secure their return.
Delighted Largs Festival chairman Alex Gallagher said: "As with the last appearance of the team, they will be happy to meet with guests, spectators and the public to answer questions and discuss the life of the team, the Parachute Regiment, the training and rehearsal and any other matters of their trade."
As ever it will be weather permitting.
The Red Devils had been due to perform last year but had to cancel due to adverse conditions.
The event will take place on the seafront in front of the Viking Village and stage areas in Greenock Road.
