Twin girl football fanatics from Wemyss Bay were thrilled to be mascots at Hampden Park last Friday evening for the Scotland football match with Belgium.

Eilidh and Hannah Timmons are big football fans and have been playing football with Ardgowan FD in Wemyss Bay since they were four.

The seven year olds are Morton season ticket holders and have recently been to the Scotland women's team's matches, and currently have a 100% record!

As they've been in the Scotland Supporters' Club since they were just a few months old, it came as a nice surprise for the invitation.

Eilidh walked out with keeper Courtois, and Hannah headed out with Celtic defender Boyata, both Belgium players,

Proud father Anthony, who has been a long term of the SFA Supporters Club member, said: "Hannah actually asked Courtois how he managed to fit through the door - you can actually see Hannah doing this in the Sky Sports coverage and can just about hear her saying it, when you view it on the tv!

"We were on holiday in Spain and received an email from the SFA, inviting both Hannah and Eilidh to be mascots at the Scotland vs Belgium game.

"Both girls were extremely excited, possibly even as excited as their dad.

"The days to the game could not come quickly enough, though seeing Scotland women's team beat Switzerland the week before, helped tide them over to the day of the game.

"On the day we arrived two hours before kick off.

"The SFA staff were excellent and gave them a full Scotland strip, along with some other Scotland goodies.

"We were very impressed with the way the SFA handled things.

"Both mum Fiona and I are very proud of them and delighted that they enjoyed their evening out, as much as we did."
