The Largs Girls Brigade year is now well under way.
A total of 20 girls joined in for the Viking Parade on Saturday and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere 'marching' through the town.
Captain Vicky McGregor said: "On Tuesday night we were delighted to welcome 26 Explorers. They enjoyed playing games and thought about how they fit into GB like a piece of a jigsaw puzzle.
"We also had 26 Juniors and it was lovely to welcome some new faces alongside our old friends. They played lots of games and were thinking about social media.
"The Brigaders had a great night, catching up with holiday news and making poppies.
"St John's are hoping to make a cascade of poppies for the church steeple to mark 100 years since the end of the First World War. Some girls were knitting and some making them from felt."
If you know a girl school age who would like to come to Girls Brigade they would be very welcome to give us a try. Explorers (P1-3) meet 6-7.15pm and Juniors and Brigaders (P4-S6) meet 7-8.30pm on Tuesday nights in the Dunn Memorial Hall.
