High winds have been affecting Millport with trees falling over and the main street closed.
The Garrison and surrounding grounds have also closed while there have also been reports of another tree falling down on the DA Hall, after another such incident at the weekend.
The fire brigade have also been in attendance on the seafront and at the entrances of the Garrison. Stuart Street is also unsafe due to scaffolding coming off buildings.
Robert Wilson tweeted: "The front street is closed at pierhead, and Bute Terrace is also closed at old church."
The ferries have been cancelled since around 8.35am this morning.
The following roads are closed: Glasgow St to Stuart St, Cardiff St
and College St.
