Millport's DA Hall struck by a tree for the SECOND time in a week
The Island of Great Cumbrae has been hit with unbelievable bad luck as the DA Hall community facility struck by another tree following Storm Ali.
On Saturday evening following a fundraiser to re-open Millport Town Hall at the DA Hall, a tree came down and struck the side of the building.
However, on Wedneday morning, another tree came down and struck the other side of the building. See picture by islander Jensen Newton.
The DA Hall is currently closed and won't be used for the forthcoming September Weekend festival, with events such as the prizegiving, Mini Millport's Got Talent and fancy dress competition instead taking place at the Garrison marquee.
