All Celtic fans in Largs and surrounding area should make a beeline for Barrfields on Sunday 18th November.
This is because a special theatre play is coming which centres on the Hoops' famous triumph in 1967.
'On our way to Lisbon' tells the tale of Celtic's amazing European Cup triumph through the eyes of two fans who recreate the epic campaign.
The two actors, Pat Abernethy and Dave Marsden, play everything - players, crowds, commentators, managers, in a masterpiece of story-telling, including some hilarious slow-motion sequences.
The glory of the famous victory masterminded by Jock Stein is set against the drab reality of their Glasgow existence...was Celtic’s victory the best moment of their lives?
Over the last few years, the play has thrilled audiences in Scotland, Ireland, England and Las Vegas, gathering rave reviews, awards and standing ovations.
The show has obvious appeal for football fans, but for those with little interest in the game, it stands as a stunning piece of theatre for all.
The event starts at 8pm, and includes a bar.
Tickets are available from the box office at Barrfields, phone 689777.
