he Attic Players are delighted to present Blithe Spirit in Skelmorlie Community Centre on 8th,9th & 10th November. This smash hit comedy written by Noel Coward, tells the story of novelist Charles Condomine (Stuart McDougall) re-married but haunted (literally) by his late first wife, Elvira,(Donna Laing) whose mischievous spirit has been called up by visiting medium eccentric Madame Arcarti Karen Willey). When his second wife, Ruth (Linn McDougall), is accidently killed and 'passes over' Charles finds himself being haunted by both his late wives. Can Madame Arcati free the hapless Charles from being haunted forever by two 'blithe spirits'? Directed by William Clark-Ferguson the cast is completed by Attic Players regulars Eric Linn and Alison Goldie, with a first time appearance by Alison Du Cane on the Skelmorlie Stage.
