A charity concert for two important causes is taking place in Largs on Friday 23 November.
St Columba's Parish Church is hosting the community choir The Upbeats at St Columba's Parish Church at 7.30pm.
All proceeds will be donated to PAPYRUS a charity that help to prevent young suicide and Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Julie Armenaud, who has helped to organise the event, said: "The reason for hosting this event is because a friend of mine living in Fairlie has been battling pancreatic cancer.
"It is not so necessarily well known, and this month is Pancreatic Cancer month and the charity are providing support for people who are going through the disease, and providing important information about the signs of the cancer, and how it is treated.
"The second charity is PAPYRUS which is a suicide prevention charity, which exists to reduce the number of young people who take their own lives by shattering the stigma around suicide and equipping young people and their communities with the skills to recognise and respond to suicidal behaviour."
