The Messy Church project which has been such a success in other towns in the district is coming to Largs.
The family events involves arts and crafts for the children followed by a meal, and is run by the church. Local places of worship are coming together to host the new initiative.
An item which appeared in the St John's Church newsletter stated: "We have begun the process of forming a joint Messy Church with Clark Memorial and St Columba’s Parish Church, which will begin on Sunday 9th December with Messy Christmas! This will take place in Clark Memorial Hall."
The event will take place from 4-6pm.
Similar get togethers are regularly hosted in West Kilbride and Fairlie Parish Churches over recent years, and have proved very popular with local families, and it is hopes that the format will have a similar success here.
