Limmy’s Show star is set to perform in Largs next month with his side splitting stand up show.

Comedian and actor Raymond Mearns will bring his most recent stand up performance to Lounge on January 4, following previous sold out shows at the venue.

As an actor in Ken Loach’s films Ae Fond Kiss and It’s a Free World, Raymond also turns his hand to a unique stand up comedy show, bringing some much-needed mirth and merriment to cure the January blues.

As one of the most consistent comedians in the Scottish comedy scene Raymond offers up a rafter of hilarious gags and audience interaction in every performance.

With numerous film and TV credits to his name, such as BBC Scotland Rab C Nesbitt, Breaking the News and River City, he is well adept to the Scottish comedy scene.

Raymond started doing stand-up comedy in 1994 and has performed regularly all across the UK and internationally, where he is noted for his ability to deliver sharp observational material combined with lightning quick improvisation.

However, it is since 2003 that Raymond has considered himself to be a full-time comedian and actor, with this year marking his most successful Fringe show, as he continues to improve his sets.

He plans to squeeze in the show in Lounge before jetting off to Perth World Fringe in Australia later in the January.
