Back by popular demand at Lounge in Largs next week is the home grown musical Invisible.

After a successful summer season of four shows in the Clubroom 'the musical for head cases' has been received with acclaim in Irvine, Paisley and Linlithgow in 2018.

A top London-based agent has told the SHIMS group who produce the show that it has potential to go places.

Director Drew Cochrane and musical director Robin Lucas, a former professional singer-songwriter, who writes the catchy, clever songs have lined up a cast of experienced actors and musicians.

A unique aspect of the show is that four performers are battling back from serious head and brain injuries and tell their individual stories with a mixture of emotion and humour.

Well-known local actress Pat Nicol is lead singer with fellow Largs Players Drew Cochrane, George Whitestone and Gordon McMurray also starring in an inspiring story of the real life Sunshine Club.

The one-off presentation on Friday, January 11 at 8pm will be set cabaret style with the audience having a drink at tables. Proceeds from the £8 ticket will go towards promotion of treatment for acquired brain injuries.

Lounge offer a £10 pre-theatre meal and all tickets and bookings should be made at the Main Street venue (01475 689968).
