CaféChurch Largs invites you to join in the U2charist this Sunday at 6pm in Costa Coffee.
Rev. Jonathan Fleming said:”One of the most successful and critically acclaimed bands in rock history, U2 is also known for the Christian spiritual themes and symbolism of its lyrics.
“Lead singer Bono is also known as a philanthropist and advocate for poverty relief, AIDS activism, Third World debt cancellation and other causes, including the ONE Campaign.”
U2 has agreed to allow their songs to be used by churches for such an event, on the condition that all proceeds collected are donated to an appropriate charitable cause.
All voluntary donations collected at CaféChurch event will be given to the Church of Scotland HIV Programme.
ALL are welcome at CaféChurch.
It's church, but not as you know it...
