BARRFIELDS is 'mixing things up' and bringing girl power back as it prepares to host one of the UK's number 1 tribute acts.

Little Mix tribute, Little Fix, will be taking to the stage in Largs on Saturday February 16.

Former Largs Academy pupil, Heather MacDonald, 22, makes up one quarter of the Little Fix, performing as Jesse.

Performing some of the nations favourite pop songs across the country the band have been making a name for themselves, being crowned as the UK number 1 at the National Tribute Music awards in 2017.

In September 2017 the band also starred in a brand new BBC TV Programme titled "Even Better Than The Real Thing" with Paddy Mcguinness and beat of stiff competition to become finalists.

Since then the band have had great success selling out venues and theatres across the country, with Barrfields next on their hit list.

This is the second time Little Fix will be hitting the Barrfields stage, returning with with all new songs, routines, costumes and lights.

Heather said: “The past year in particular has been mental, its been a bit of a whirlwind really.

“I always knew I wanted to be on stage performing but I don’t think you ever really think to yourself ‘I want to be part of a little mix tribute band’.

“But now it means I get to be on stage every weekend and I can’t think of anything better.

“The great thing about our shows is that it means kids who might not be able to afford to go and see the real Little Mix or who don’t feel comfortable at a huge concert, can come see us an still dance along to all the hits.”

The band power through all of Little Mix's biggest hits with identical choreography and vocal finesse proving that “Girl Power” is back on the agenda.
