Millport owes its existence to the Victorian Age , which transformed a rather grim town of excise men and farmers to a jolly, welcoming, holiday venue. How did this happen?
Millport will help you to relive those carefree days with its Victorian Festival, planned for the week after Easter.
There will be carefree activities, sing-songs and magic as the people of Millport transform you to a Victorian and offer you a glimpse into a simpler world when life for the people of Glasgow and their children was full of games, songs, and fun on the island.
The aim is fun. Take the chance to be beside the sea-side in lovely Millport and live the life of a Victorian on 27th and 28th April this year.
