CalMac is launching a new community fund to help boost opportunities for young people.
Non-profit organisations can apply for £500 to £2000 with applications open to projects believed to positively impact young peoples lives in the community.
Applications must be for a project or activities that benefit children and young people aged 26 and under living in a mainland port or island the company serves.
The company hope that establishing a community fund will help to build stronger ties with the community. Thirty awards will be available in year one and will be awarded based on merit, with plans to monitor the level of interest for the future.
Organisations can access an online application form and see full terms and conditions at www.calmac.co.uk/community-fund.
