Michael Portillo's visit to the Field Studies Centre in Millport features in a forthcoming edition of the BBC's Great Railway Journeys show.
The edition will be shown on Thursday 14 February on BBC2 at 6.30pm.
Michael arrived at Largs Railway Station on a Sunday in May last year before heading across to the Isle of Cumbrae on the local ferry, complete with his Bradshaw's Guide.
The programme blurb reads: "Michael Portillo explores the industrial heartland of Glasgow and its mighty River Clyde before taking the ferry to the island of Cumbrae."
