Residents are being invited to view exciting updated proposals for new council housing on Cumbrae.
The planned £2.68million development at St Beya Gardens forms part of the Council’s vision to deliver more than 1,300 new properties by 2024 – one of the most ambitious Council house building programmes in the UK.
North Ayrshire Council’s Housing Services will host a consultation event on Tuesday, 12 March, to allow people to:
* view the final plans and house designs,
* discuss any questions about the works directly with the contractor; and
* obtain information regarding site access arrangements and traffic management proposals.
The proposed development at St Beya Gardens will provide 18 new council homes, including general needs, amenity and wheelchair units.
Building works at the site are currently expected to commence this summer with residents moving into homes next year.
Plans for the development will be available to view at a drop-in consultation event on March 12, between 4pm and 6pm, at the DA Hall in Millport.
Following the consultation event, the proposals will be available to view online from Wednesday, 13 March, until Wednesday, 3 April, at www.northayrshire.community/consultations/open-consultations
