It was a special double at the North Ayrshire Provost’s Citizen Awards for Largs and Millport.
Cumbrae Cludgie Cleaner Suki McGregor cleaned up in style to lift Citizen of the Year after helping to spruce up the loos while promoting Cumbrae through her “Bog Vlogs” online , while Corrie Shepherd won the Young Citizen of the year project for setting up the pioneering Clearer Minds project at Largs Academy with the launch of mental health health ambassadors and a full programme of events to assist pupils, teachers and parents.
Largs Academy tweeted: “Well done Corrie. We are so proud of you and the work you have put in to gain funding to support the whole school commmunity. What you have done will change lives.”
A huge congratulations from the the Largs and Millport News to both worthy winners!
