Millport Curling Club reached the end of the curling season by the skin of their teeth!
On Wednesday, despite weather warnings and the temporary suspension of ferry services early in the morning, the club managed to reach Greenacres to compete for our final trophies of the year - the Silver Kettle and the Crerar Medal. Six teams, although several had to play with three members only due to shortage of players, competed in a round robin of two 5 end games before lunch and a further 5 end game after. At the final count, Dave, with Susan and Fraser carried off the Kettle and David with Bill, Alison and Ron took the Crerar Medal as runners up. Well done everyone, and here's to September and the 2019/20 season!
