Scottish Power were involved in roadworks on Fairlie Main Road outside the Village Hall this week.
A convoy system has been in place with traffic lights in operation, while the bus stop near the Causeway junction was out of action while the works take place.
The roadworks which started on Tuesday were expected to last for 11 days but following examination of an underground power fault, the matter was fully fixed by Thursday afternoon.
