Hunterston turbine.
A meeting was recently held in Largs library to talk about the winding up of funding from SSE.
The SSE turbine has not yet been taken down at Hunterston, and no date has been given for this work.
Hunterston was home to a 6MW Siemens Gamesa offshore wind turbine, which is still up, and the Mitsubishi 7MW Sea Angel machine which has now been removed.
SSE have donated over £200,000 to local community projects since the turbines launched in 2013.
