Car crash on A78
A car crash took place on the Largs to Skelmorlie road last Wednesday afternoon near Auchengarth.
The incident happened at around 5pm on the busy coastal road.
Inspector Colin Convery of Largs Police said: "Only one vehicle was involved.
"It was mechanical failure which rendered it undriveable.
"There were no charges."
