A public consultation on the Clyde Regional Marine Planning Strategy is taking place on Saturday 11 May at the Brisbane Centre in Largs between 6pm-9pm.

The environmental and economic future of the Firth of Clyde depends on bringing planners, regulatory bodies, investors and local communities together to maximise economic opportunities while protecting the marine environment.

A new marine strategy is being agreed by a group called the Clyde Marine Planning Partnership which is headed by Lady Glasgow.

You can access the plan at www.clydemarineplan.scot and comment online.
