The Largs Fish Works have been given a listing as one of Scotland's best fish and chip shops in a new tourism book.
'Scotland the Best' by Peter Irvine is a best selling travel and lifestyle guide which has sold more than 250,000 copies.
Co-owner of the Fishworks Tiffany Irvin told the 'News' that she was delighted that the seafront takeaway received a highly recommended entry in the guide.
She said: "This is a big one for us, we are so chuffed."
