An up and coming musical is travelling overseas....to Millport...for the first time next week.

The unique show, Invisible - 'a musical for head cases' - received a standing ovation at the Beacon Studio Theatre in Greenock last week after a successful run which has taken it from Largs to Irvine, Paisley and Linlithgow.

Invisible tells the tale of the real life Sunshine Club and some of the cast are performers who are battling back from all sorts of head and brain trauma. They are joined by experienced actors and musicians in an entertaining show which is both poignant and humorous.

The songs have been written by former professional singer-songwriter Robin Lucas, who toured the UK with Ronnie Lane and Slim Chance. The script is written and directed by Drew Cochrane who appears in the show.

Invisible will be staged in the Newton Lounge on Millport seafront on Friday, May 24 at 7.30pm with tickets on sale at the bar for £5, proceeds to SHIMS, Scottish Head Injuries Musical Support Group. Late night ferry to Largs is 10.30pm.
