A MAN was arrested to appear at court after an alleged disturbance at a flat in Millport.
Officers were called to an address in Cardiff Street at around 10.55pm on Thursday.
A 26-year-old male was arrested and held in custody to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
Police divisional commander Mark Hargreaves said: "They say police are never off duty and for officers in Millport that's definitely true.
"Officers were called out from their homes to deal with a male, who was later arrested.
"Praise for some good work to all involved."
